you go, it turns out you're not stuck with the small editor window after all! You can select the most appropriate settings for your custom and that is one of the things we really liked about Gmail.
So how do you think? Do you like the small window? Or you will be going back to the full screen mode, you now have the know-how?

Solution
Whether or not you like this set up, the good news is that you can choose to keep it or get rid of it as you see fit.
And this can not be easier!
Simply open your new message as usual and it will pop up in the lower right corner. Now look for the little 'down' arrow in the corner (next to the trash). Click this and you'll be presented with a number of additional options, the first of which is "Default to fullscreen". Once this is selected, as you can imagine, the editor window will automatically assume the full-screen setting and will not appear as a smaller window at the bottom. You can simply repeat the process to change it back.
Note that you can also increase the size of the window on the fly at any time by pressing the two arrows in the upper right of the window. This operation is very similar to the "maximize" in Windows.
Of course you will find that this is not quite a full-screen still. Rather will still have a slight border around your message. This is handy to access more features, or have more than one editor tab to open at a time, but it can ruin some people.
Want to go even more immersive still? Many of the browser has an 'immersive mode "that you can use to remove the' chrome 'and other features and to go full screen.
When you look at Gmail in your browser, and you hit 'send', you will open a new window for writing your message. In most email clients, which then takes you to a page completely clean, you can begin to fill your new message (in some cases, you can view your messages listed down the side).
This is what we've come to expect from our email client and it has the same effect as the regime 'immersive' offered by some software - in that it helps us to eliminate distractions and focus on the message we wrote busy. So, while the new 'small' window editor has been around for some time, it is not something that everyone is a fan, and it says that other email providers did not do follow.
This idea is probably small window allows easier multitasking - and options to mitigate many half-written message is definitely nice. The problem is that it can only look a little busy and it can prevent you from focusing properly. And this is a problem for those with a smaller screen size. The real question is why you would need to do this kind of multitasking in your email at all - why do you need to see a list of your old messages when your current writing?
